Pieced Alphabet

During a color theory class at a quilting shop, I designed and sewed this wall hanging. If you look closely, you can make out all the letters of the alphabet and an ampersand. After creating the design on paper, I traced it in Illustrator and printed it out actual size (24" x 48") and cut the fabric pieces from there. After piecing, it was machine quilted with a free design. It hangs in my house on the stair landing.
